How do I determine what size to order?
The best way to determine the size of shoe to order is to first measure the size of the child's foot. We suggest that the best way to do that is to place a piece of blank paper on the floor (preferably a hard surface, like tiles or hardwood). If possible, have your child stand on the paper. Put a pencil mark at the heel and one at the longest toe. Using a standard ruler, measure the distance between the two marks. One caution - if you plan on putting socks on your child when they wear the shoes, it is best to measure their foot in socks. If you do not, you will need to take into account a little bit of extra room in order to accommodate the material in the socks.

How do I clean the shoes?
For leather shoes, a damp cloth with a bit of mild soap, if necessary. For suede shoes, we recommend that you use a suede cleaner. They are usually available at most supermarkets or variety stores. You can also hand wash them with mild soap and let them air dry. They will be a bit stiff at first, but will soften up after short time use.
When will I receive my order?
If the shoes that you have ordered are in-stock, they will be shipped right away. Orders to the West Coast usually take approximately 3 - 6 days to arrive. Orders to the East Coast may take up to 10 days to arrive.If the shoes that you have ordered are on backorder you will be notified. It may take up to an additional 3 - 4 weeks to receive your shoes.
Can my child wear these shoes outside?
Yes, these shoes can be used both inside and outside. They will protect small feet against heat, dirt and rocks. With a pair of warm socks they are perfect on cold days. The PlatyPaws shoes are strong enough to last atleast one hand-me-down when used indoor. Note: Will wear down a lot faster outside and on concrete.Platy Paws Children's Shoes are not waterproof or water resistant.
